All About Laser Hair Removal

1. We start with a consultation. Our laser expert will run a series of questions such as if you are pregnant or on a certain kind of medication, searching for possible factors that can affect the result of laser treatment or even stop you from having it.
2. A quick patch test on the same day of the laser session (or prior to it) is performed to monitor the area for any unusual reactions and changes, like redness or any pain. This is important to make sure that your treatment will be safe and comfortable for you.
3. After getting a positive result of your patch test the treatment starts.
a. Our therapist provides you with a pair of safety glasses to protect your eyes from a bright flash of light the laser gives off when it zaps the hair follicle.
b. Our laser expert sets the intensity of the laser which can differ for women and men, also depending on your hair type and kind of area you are wishing to treat.
c. The treated area is covered with a cold gel to make it easier for the head of the laser to glide along and protect your skin.
d. The treatment is performed for a certain amount of time depending on the chosen area and amount of hair.
e. After your treatment is complete aloe vera gel is always applied to the area to soothe and calm the skin.
Result – in few days after your first few treatments you will notice the hairs starting to fall out.
